Kapolei is abuzz with the opening of several new stores.  Hundreds of people packed Costco's new Kapolei store, which opened on February 27.  Nearby, another grand opening took place at Kapolei Commons, where The Sports Authority became the first store to open at the center, setting into motion a series of other grand openings planned for early March. 

 

"There's been a lot of interest in the schedule of grand openings at Kapolei Commons," said Todd Hedrick, director lf leasing and property management for The MacNaughton Group.  "We are excited about the long-awaited opening of the center's first stores, which will be followed by a growing list of other tenants.  Together, they will be great additions to Kapolei's shopping and entertainment experience."
